Since I met Karen Lynn, she has shown me what real friendship is all about. She has become not only a great friend to me, but a close and enduring friendship has taken shape. I can’t really explain it, or put it into words, but it is a bond closer than close- a tie and connection that will never be broken. Karen is truly an inspiration to me. She motivates me in everything she says and does. If I could be someone else, I would love to be Karen.
Karen has made me feel as though I have got someone to care for. And with each and every waking hour, I give thanks to the Lord above for allowing me to meet and have such a warm and gentle person in my life. I can truly call Karen my friend. Yes, I have a few friends, but nothing like I have with Karen. Nothing at the depths that I know now- I didn’t have the connection, or bond, that I do with Karen. She makes me laugh, and she cheers me up when I need cheering. More importantly, she never makes me feel sad. I know we meet only a year and a half ago, and our friendship started over the Internet, but there is definitely a sisterly bond between us. I feel like I have got someone who I can really rely upon, and someone who will tell me the truth no matter what the circumstances are! Karen is like a big sister. I can turn to her no matter what.
One day I truly hope that we can meet, that will be my dream come true. And In a big way, I am glad I’m disabled, because if it weren’t for my Cerebral Palsy, I would never have met her. She is very important to my life, my personal growth, and me; even though she lives across the world, I feel so close to her. I can talk to Karen about anything- I even forget for a little while that I have a disability- I forget about lots of things, that’s how wonderful she makes me feel!
To me, Karen is my guardian angel sent down from heaven. I never knew a person could touch my heart as much as she has. She has not only brought friendship, warmth, and kindness to me, but she has filled my heart with love. Karen has given me hope, strength and encouragement when I’ve needed it. She makes me feel alive. And my life has more meaning, purpose, and is richer because of her. I am happier too! And I have become more self-confident and assertive.
I admire Karen a lot- I especially admire her for traveling on her own, to different states, and her gift to speak to others with and without disabilities. She is so strong and has accomplished so much! If she can inspire me, I am sure she can inspire you! She will defiantly empower and bring out the best in you! I wish her continued success at her different public speaking venues, and continued success with her book. I bought and read Karen’s book, The Broken Hoof, from her directly. I highly recommend it to everyone- disabled or not.
Karen has a very special talent and gift. That’s just how enchanting and charming her story is… Her story is waiting for you to read. This story will bring you hope and inspiration, encouragement and empowerment - and it will bring you joy as it delights and fills your spirit. She is one impressive and beautiful woman.
